AirSnort is a wireless LAN (WLAN) tool that recovers encryption keys. It operates by passively monitoring transmissions, computing the encryption key when enough packets have been gathered.can crack both WEP and WPA passwords, AirSnort has a limitation to cracking only WEP passwords.
